How are you always so calm? 

This is a question I am often asked by clients and whilst it might not always be the case, the answer is actually quite simple. I choose to be at peace with whatever is happening in life because it’s a much more fulfilling experience.

Working with clients who are in need not just physically but also emotionally has increased my passion to instil in each of us the true value of self-care and self compassion and how to incorporate these into daily life. Having trained with Sandy Newbigging as a Mind Calm and Mind Detox Master Practitioner, I’ve learnt techniques that have played a huge role in helping me to calm my anxiety, reduce stress and have a happier, healthier life.

Meditation

When I first tried mediation, I thought I was doing it wrong. I could never get rid of my thoughts and although I would sometimes find  peace and quiet for a short while, I didn’t seem to be having the experience I thought I should have. Once I learned to get go of those beliefs, everything started to make more sense. I learned that having thoughts when meditating isn’t me doing it wrong but releasing things I don’t need to carry around. I learnt to recognise and release a thought without falling into thinking. 

The Mind Calm and Body Calm meditations I teach give you harmony in your heart, mind, body and soul, which is the foundation of health and happiness. They are simple yet deeply effective ways to find stillness, space and silence in a busy world. 

1:1 Coaching

What is Mind Detox? Mind Detox is a talking therapy. The basis of it is that we look at an issue you may have and see if there is a mind based cause that we can resolve to help with it and let go of the emotion surrounding it. As a Mind Detox Coach, I use simple yet powerful techniques to help you find the root cause of life issues, behaviour patterns, emotional and physical issues with the aim of resolving them so you can let go of what you don’t need and stop repeating patterns.

In short, Mind Detox can help you change your perspective and let go of limiting beliefs!

What does a session involve?

There is no set pattern of how a session goes but we may use different techniques to help clear that issue, try a meditation, try some gentle techniques that you can use at home or a combination of all those things. All you need to do is come with an open mind and something you would like to work on, whatever that may be. 

Some examples of issues I have helped people work on are:

  • Insomnia

  • Skin problems

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Money worries

  • Inability to complete things

  • Inability to rest

  • Anxiety

  • Not feeling good enough

  • People pleasing

  • Feelings of rejection

  • Perfectionist tendencies

Working together includes:

  • a free consultation for you to ask any questions and see if we are a good fit

  • 5 x 90 minute sessions either in person or online, to be taken over the course of a year

  • techniques tailored to you to help resolve conflict and find calm

  • meditation techniques (where appropriate) to help you find stillness

  • ongoing support in between sessions

£450 for the 5 session package

£105 for a one off session
